DISPLAYING THE SAVIOR’S WORDS
The database for this website was created using the official Standard Works of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on CD-ROM, Version 6.1.105.24 Build 105, published in 2005. Over the years, minor adjustments may be made to the scriptures as described here.(1) The official internet version of the scriptures contains all adjustments and supersedes earlier versions.
When you do keyword searching in this study aid, the results of each search will include five things for every verse:
- Scripture reference, which is an active link to the verse on the official internet version of the scriptures in full context.
- The edited verse containing only the words of Jesus Christ and corresponding … notations where applicable.
- The complete verse from the official internet version of the scriptures.
- An indication of the volume of scripture selected for your search.
- An indication of the timeline of the Savior’s words – Premortal, Mortal or Resurrected.
This information can enhance your scripture study and validate scripture text with the most current official internet version of the scriptures.
