How do we know which scriptures were spoken by Jesus Christ?
How are those scriptures displayed in this study resource?
The answers to these questions define the approach used for creating this resource, which can be divided into three subjects:
- Identifying who Deity is in the Scriptures
- Distinguishing between prophetic teachings and the voice of Deity
- How scriptures containing the voice of Deity are displayed
Brief answers and examples follow, with links to more detailed information to help establish a basic framework for understanding the rationale and methods associated with this scripture study tool.
The doctrines associated with Deity are magnificent, of tremendous importance and expansive scope, and are often understood differently in many faith traditions. Comprehensive information on these subjects is beyond the parameters of this study aid, but can be searched in detail here.(1) The objective of this project is to aid in a very specific approach for studying the scriptures, allowing the words of holy writ to speak to the reader in the voice of Jesus Christ.
